Project Manager, Site Remediation and Hydrogeology

Description :

The Project Manager will be directly responsible for client relations, project budgets, schedules and subcontractors: More specifically :

• Preparation of proposals and contractual agreements
• Management of all phases of site remediation projects, from site investigation through remedial action and reclamation
• Target potential clients and identify new business opportunities
• Carry out business development activities

Requirements :

Academic Education :

• Minimum B.Sc. in Engineering or related field of study such as Geological Science / Civil / Chemical / Environmental
• Professionnel registration required

Experience :

• 7 to 10 years of related experience as Project Manager
• Expertise in site investigation, remedial design and construction phases of projects
• Proven track record and experience with major projects and clients
• Experience with direct employee supervision is an asset
• Renown individual in the field of upstream petroleum industry remediation projects is a major asset

Additional Requirements :

• Extensive knowledge of regulatory agency requirements and technical knowledge.
• Any of the following safety training courses are an asset: Confined Space Awareness, Fire Extinguisher Use, Standard First Aid (including CPR), Transportation of Dangerous Goods, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), Respitory Protective Equipment Awareness, H2S Alive, Ground Disturbance Training, Road Construction Safety Training
