André Héroux
President and Chief Executive Officer

Before joining EnGlobe, André Héroux was Senior Vice-President, “Investissements, Moyenne entreprise" with the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec — Québec’s public and private pension fund management arm — after having presided Corporation MAAX, a renowned manufacturer of bathroom accessories and spas. Thanks to his work experience, mainly in the manufacturing sector, Mr. Héroux acquired in-depth knowledge of business financial and operations management dealing with the challenges of globalization. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Administration from the Université de Sherbrooke while studying at the Collège militaire royal de Saint-Jean. As President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Héroux sits on the company’s Board of Directors.

Mario Saucier
Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer, Mario Saucier is responsible for managing and overseeing the company’s finances, information technologies, merger and acquisition activities and planning. Piror to joining EnGlobe, Mr. Saucier was Senior-Vice President and Chief Financial Officer overseeing accounting at Quebecor World inc. He also worked for Bombardier Transport where he gained in-depth knowledge of international finances, strategic planning, project management and process optimization. He became a chartered accountant in 1991 and has earned a Bachelor of Accounting Science from the Université du Québec à Montréal.

Christian Bélanger
Vice-President of innovation of development

Christian Bélanger is Vice President, Innovation and Development. His major responsibilities are to provide the necessary support to EnGlobe Corp. and main subsidiaries located in Canada, the United States, France and the United Kingdom in responding to their needs in technological development and systems applications, in innovation, in quality control and monitoring, in occupational health and safety and in the compliance with enviromental standards. Mr Bélanger holds a Ph.D. in microbiology from Laval University (Québec City), supported by advanced training at the University of Washington, Seatlle, WA. Prior to joining our company in 1998, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in environmental microbiology with Fisheries and Oceans Canada.

Marie-Chantal Turcotte
Senior Vice-President of Legal Matters, Human Capital Management

Ms. Marie-Chantal Turcotte is Senior Vice-President, Legal Affairs, Human Capital Management department, Corporate Communication and Corporate Secretary of EnGlobe Corp.  As such, she is responsible for the strategy designed to attract, train and retain talented employees while promoting an effective and motivating working environment. She is responsible for the provision of legal services to the Group’s operations, including the secretarial function for EnGlobe and its divisions and subsidiaries. As a member of EnGlobe’s Executive Committee, she advises Senior management regarding their current and special affairs and on the legal implication of the Group activities. She is also involved in making decisions with corporate budget, acquisitions, investments and corporate governance of EnGlobe’s divisions and foreign affiliates. Furthermore, she is responsible for overseeing the implementation of a corporate communication strategy for internal and external audiences. After a career in corporate law, banking and contract administration in private practice, Ms. Turcotte joined Biogenie S.R.D.C. Inc.’s Legal and Corporate Affairs Department in 2002 as Legal Counsel. She successively held the positions of General Counsel of Biogenie (2004), Director, Legal Affairs and Corporate Secretary of EnGlobe Corp. (2006) and Senior Vice-President, Legal Affairs, Human Resources and Corporate Communication (2009). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Law from Laval University and is a member of the Québec Bar Association since 1994.

Georges Szaraz
Senior Vice-President, Organic Waste Management

Georges Szaraz is responsible for the division’s operations and development. He previously was Chief Executive for Biogénie’s Montreal office where he was in charge of Human and Material Resources, Business Development, Quality Control as well as Technical and Administrative Support. Mr. Szaraz holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering and a Master’s degree in Environmental Geotechnics from McGill University.

Ghyslain Deschamps
Senior Vice-President, Site Assessment and Remediation — North America

Mr. Ghyslain Deschamps is Senior Vice-President, Site Assessment and Remediation North America of EnGlobe and is responsible for the business unit’s operations and development. Before joining EnGlobe, he worked as Project Director for SNC-Lavalin on international large-scale projects in North America, Europe, Australia and the Middle East in field such as energy, industrial and infrastructure. Prior to this, Mr. Deschamps carried out projects for Babcock & Wilcox and Hydro-Québec. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the Université de Sherbrooke.

Marco Venturini
Senior Vice-President — Europe

Mr. Marco Venturini is Senior Vice President, Europe of EnGlobe, is in charge of operations and business development of our European subsidiaries Biogénie and Celtic in France and United Kingdom. Before joining our Company, he held the position of Deputy Managing Director of Paprec Recyclage, a french leader of the recycling industry. Prior to this, he was Executive Vice President for Italy, Northern Africa and Northern Europe of Veolia Water. Throughout his career, mainly within the environmental sector, Mr. Venturini has acquired solid experience of the financial and operational concerns of the increasing environmental challenges. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Torino, an MBA of the Institut de Sciences Politiques de Paris, an Executive Master in Finance of INSEAD and a Master 2 in Energy and Carbon Finance of the Univeristé Paris Dauphine.
