LAVAL (Québec) – Today, Englobe announced the acquisition of Reinbold Engineering Group (Reinbold), a highly regarded Calgary-based mechanical engineering firm recognized for its expertise in building systems, energy modelling, commissioning, sustainable design, and building performance.
The acquisition builds on Englobe's established expertise in the buildings sector and enhances its ability to support clients not only in designing and delivering high-performance buildings across Canada, but also in ensuring optimal, resilient operations throughout their entire lifecycle.
Helping Canadian clients build and operate for the future
As expectations for building performance continue to evolve, owners, developers, and operators are placing greater emphasis on energy efficiency, operational effectiveness, long-term value, and resilience. The addition of Reinbold ’s experienced team strengthens Englobe's capacity in energy modelling and commissioning, capabilities that connect a building's design intent to how it performs once in use, supporting more energy‑efficient and lower‑carbon outcomes.
Through this new partnership, Englobe welcomes over 90 experienced team members working in offices in Calgary, Edmonton, Kelowna, Vancouver and Toronto, to its national platform.
