Transformative Upgrades in a Live Healthcare Environment
Englobe delivered a comprehensive modernization of the Jasper Healthcare Centre, enhancing the reliability, efficiency, and long-term performance of critical building systems while the hospital remained fully operational.
Key project highlights include:
- Replacement of four aging air handling units with two high-capacity, CSA-compliant systems
- Conversion of a legacy pneumatic control network to advanced digital controls
- Integration of a future-ready Building Management System (BMS) architecture
- Structural reinforcements designed to support new equipment within severe spatial constraints
- Electrical upgrades ensuring reliable power distribution and life-safety system integration
The project was executed amid extraordinary challenges, including wildfire evacuations, winterization risks, and strict infection control protocols. Through close collaboration and adaptive problem-solving, the team delivered a resilient solution that enhances patient comfort, operational efficiency, and long-term stability for this vital community healthcare facility.
