A proven leader with more than 30 years of experience in engineering and construction, Brian has an impressive track record of leading teams to exceptional operational and financial performances in highly competitive environments. Over the course of his career, Brian has successfully led and developed large multidiscipline engineering and architectural teams.

As Senior Vice-President, Business Development, Brian DeCoste is responsible for driving strategic growth initiatives across Canada. He works closely with regional leadership teams to identify market opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and advance organic growth strategies aligned with Englobe’s long-term business objectives. Brian’s deep industry knowledge enables him to support pursuit planning and position the organization competitively in complex markets. 

In addition to his business development responsibilities, Brian DeCoste plays a lead role in mergers and acquisitions activities across Englobe’s Western region, with a focus on post-transaction integration. Working closely with Corporate Services and M&A leadership, he supports new partner organizations through their transition to Englobe and oversees regional change management efforts. 

Prior to joining Englobe, Brian DeCoste spent 32 years at SNC-Lavalin (now AtkinsRéalis), rising through the ranks to hold a variety of Vice-President roles throughout this time. He also spent four years at Pomerleau as Business Development Manager. 

Brian holds a Bachelor's in Commerce and a Master's in Project Management from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Management Accounting.
