As Senior Vice‑President, Québec, François Santerre leads a team of nearly 1,400 professionals, with a focus on advancing the organization, supporting growth, and strengthening Englobe’s position as a partner of choice for engineering, infrastructure, environmental and asset management projects across the province. A highly respected engineering professional with a strong passion for business and leadership, François brings 27 years of experience to this role.

Known for his authentic and unifying leadership style, François Santerre is recognized for his ability to build alignment, address sensitive issues with rigour, and maintain a constructive approach in complex environments. Action‑oriented, he favours a pragmatic leadership approach centred on identifying challenges and implementing effective solutions. A committed agent of change, he places strong emphasis on talent development, team progression and the advancement of strategic growth initiatives. Since joining Englobe, François Santerre has led a wide range of large‑scale projects, primarily in public infrastructure. He has worked closely with major clients, including the Québec Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility and Transport Electrification (MTMDET), Hydro‑Québec and the Société québécoise des infrastructures (SQI). Over the course of his career, he has held several management roles, ultimately assuming responsibility for Englobe’s Québec operations. 

 

François Santerre holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Université Laval and has completed graduate‑level studies in civil engineering and business administration. He has been a member of the Québec Order of Engineers (OIQ) since 1999 and actively supports several charitable and community organizations.
