Sylvain Métivier, CPA, was appointed Englobe CFO in November 2023. In this role, he holds overall responsibility for Englobe’s financial management and fiscal integrity, and directs all company activities relating to financial accounting, planning and control, financing, tax, treasury, audit, budgeting, and risk management.

Throughout his career, Sylvain Métivier has been recognized for his rigour, analytical mindset, and focus on responsible corporate financial governance. He came to Englobe after nearly 15 years at EXFO in a variety of senior project management and finance roles. Previously, he spent five years at Deloitte, where he built and led the Enterprise Risk Services practice team in Québec City. 

Sylvain Métivier holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) and a Certificate in Accounting from Université Laval. In recent years, he has successfully completed several Executive Education Programs from the Wharton School, Concordia University, and other institutions. He obtained his Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) designation in 1999 for Canada. Since 2009, he has also held a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) designation.
