Sylvain Métivier, CPA, was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Englobe in November 2023. In this capacity, he oversees the Company’s financial strategy, performance, and integrity, with executive accountability for all aspects of financial management, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, taxation, treasury and enterprise risk management.

Sylvain is widely recognized for his disciplined leadership, analytical rigour, and commitment to strong financial governance. He brings more than 25 years of experience spanning complex corporate environments, strategic finance, and risk management. Prior to joining Englobe, he spent nearly 15 years at EXFO, where he held a series of senior leadership roles contributing to the company’s operational and financial performance through periods of transformation. Earlier in his career, he worked for Deloitte, where he established a strong reputation as a trusted advisor to senior executives.

Sylvain holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Certificate in Accounting from Université Laval. He has further strengthened his executive leadership capabilities through advanced education programs at The Wharton School and Concordia University. He holds a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
